aimee. i have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. but i would say my daily practice didn't begin until about 15 years ago. yoga has healed me, nourished my soul, it has been a gift in my life. it gives me confidence and inner and outer strength like nothing else. it loosens me up and opens me up- it gives me peace. when i am on my mat, i am home. i just want to help bring this gift to as many people as possible. i care so much about educating and helping those around me. my passion is wellness and living up to our potential. i am a college instructor of psychology and sociology, as well as a certified health coach, certified fitness trainer (i specialize in running and yoga), certified yoga teacher, nutritionist, and counselor. i believe in the mind-body connection and that we fail to see this connection so often. our minds respond to and trigger our bodies, and our bodies respond to and trigger our minds. i believe in a holistic approach, meaning i look at the whole picture- your whole life; what do you eat, how do you move your body, your mental health, your social health, etc.. all of these things matter when it comes to being well. focusing on preventing disease is so important, something our society has forgotten. in mental and physical health, we try to fix our symptoms, instead of figuring out the basis, the underlying issue. meds cannot fix these things, they can only address our symptoms, and they create more and other symptoms as we take them. we need to get our bodies and minds and souls and hearts, back into balance, where we can thrive, not just exist. my mission, my purpose in life, is to help people find who they are, and live up to that. my mission is to heal and educate, and help people find their path to self-actualization, and being well.

greta. Greta has been teaching middle school since 1997 & she is a natural lover of learning. Her personal yoga journey started after she had her third son in 2012 & wanted a calming + peaceful retreat from BOY•MOMing. The mind-body-soul connection she discovered in her yoga practice changed her life. In early 2017, she completed her 200 hour YTT with Carrie Treister at 3 Sisters. Greta believes that yoga is for everyone - no matter your age, weight, previous experience, athletic ability, or bank account. "Educating & empowering people is just in my blood. I love seeing goals getting crushed and celebrating life's little victories”.
bridget. Bridget completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at 3 Sisters Yoga with Carrie Treister in 2017. In July of 2017, she received 23 hours of CEU through Kidding Around Yoga with Christopher McCooey and Haris Harini. Through this training, she was able to enhance her ability and knowledge to teach children and family yoga classes. In October of 2017, she attended Assisting 201 Workshop with Deidre Wenzel and Colleen Kane. During the academic school year, Bridget teaches 2nd grade; she’s a dual-certified elementary teacher. When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, you will find her running, cross training or working on her art (paining/drawing). When she teaches yoga, she teaches from the heart. She has a passion and desire to help others. She enjoys making yoga accessible to everyone. During her yoga classes it’s not just about movement, it about connecting and allowing you to take the time out for yourself forming a mind-body-spirit connection. This is something that she truly believes in and continually works on daily in her own practice.
judy. After retiring from teaching, Judy deepened her yoga practice and enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training with Carrie Treister’s Omnipresent Yoga, and earned her CYT200. Judy has also studied Gentle Yoga with Sherri Zak Morris. She has a keen interest in the mind-body connection and the science behind it, bringing insights from this area into each class. Judy believes yoga to be an important lifelong practice, and believes it to be accessible to all levels of physical abilities. Judy’s classes are slower paced, moving thoughtfully from pose to pose. Her soft calming voice will relax you- even when holding a pose and experiencing discomfort, Judy has a way of bringing a calming energy to the class! Check out her candlelight YIN every other Sunday @ 7pm. Best thing ever!
